I am blessed to be able to work with some wonderful horses and the people that care for them. Almost all of my paintings and drawings portray people and animals I know personally, so the images are extra special to me. I also do a limited number of commission works every year, so contact me about price and availability.

This is one I finished a few years back of “Nevada” who was in her 20’s at the time. A surprise birthday gift for the owner as a teenager, they spent the next twenty years together.

Hugh Bishop
This the first portrait I ever did (that I liked), the original is hanging in Hugh's house, and he is a real original. He retired from work in structural steel and started shoeing horses for a living. He was one of the best farriers I ever saw, and the horses around Madera County California and many horsemen miss his talent and compassion. Graphite, original, prints not available
